Lead Platform Engineer (Hotel Operations Systems)
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Guide stakeholders into applicable processes (e.g., enhancement requests, user access).
- Lead business stakeholders through a defined process to capture solution requirements for new and existing products.
- Oversee end-to-end application delivery management (request/roadmap to production launch & support).
- Manage vendors to ensure solution performance against needs and to manage solution delivery - including test plan review, timeline oversight, planning, etc.
- Author documentation artifacts, including implementation guides, comparison charts, and other supporting materials to reflect any enhancements to the products.
- Manage approved solution vendor partners to ensure vendor actions align with and follow Hilton-defined implementation, procedures and support service level agreement (SLA) standards.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Work with business and technical stakeholders to lay out the R&I strategic road map.
- Manage the full product lifecycle with our application vendor partners.
- Modernize user interface software using REST APIs.
- Utilize JIRA to manage tasks, bugs, and other types of issues. Utilize Confluence for system documentation.
What projects you will take ownership of:
- Design and implement processes and procedures.
- Manage special projects and pilot deployments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues associated with the approved solutions and provide updates to applicable partners until the issue is resolved.
- Overlook and design changes to OnQ R&I to support property and corporate users.
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Five (5) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
- Four (4) years of experience with hospitality operations systems
- Four (4) years of vendor management experience
- Experience with Project Management/Process Management
It would be useful if you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate Degree plus 6+ years of Technology-related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology-related experience.
- Seven (7)+ years of professional work experience in Technology or related fields.
- Six (6)+ years of hospitality operations experience.
- Six (6)+ years of vendor management experience.
- Six (6)+ years of IT project management experience for complex technology solutions.
- Three (3)+ years of Management Experience.
- Experience using Atlassian stack
- Experience designing and implementing system-related business processes

The annual salary range for this role is $110,000-$155,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
