Lead Delivery Manager

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

• Build and manage delivery plans and release schedules in partnership with Technology leads, architects, development teams, and product managers.
• Cultivate and improve current processes and tools; identify, design, train, and implement new processes.
• Look across platforms, programs, and projects to identify dependencies, risks, and issues and mitigate.
• Work with enterprise processes (Waterfall, Agile, governance process).
• Manage Jira backlogs and dependencies on other projects in Jira.

How you will collaborate with others:

• Work with domain architects, delivery leads, and product managers to coordinate timelines to ensure successful and on-time delivery.
• Pull together the necessary project leads and lead them through the planning and delivery of initiatives (new projects, maintenance of current products, programs).
• Run the delivery function for the Customer Platforms team and maintain the delivery roadmap.

What projects you will take ownership of:

• Hilton's Digital Checkin, Digital Key, Digital Checkout, and self service.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

• Five (5) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
• Four (4) years of Technology project management experience
• Three (3) years of delivery experience across multiple different technology verticals (including architecture, software development, product teams, etc.)
• Experience with Jira
• Deep knowledge of Agile and Scrum project methodologies
• Business travel of approximately 15%

It would be useful if you have:

• Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience 
• Seven (7) + years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
• Six (6) + years of Technology project management experience
• Five (5) + years of delivery experience
