Lead Data Scientist
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Develop data science models associated with structured and unstructured data in creative and novel ways and operate with autonomy.
- Design development code, and test models for deployment in the big-data environment.
- Provide technical advice to other team members and senior management.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Collaborate with data scientists, business stakeholders, and technical teams to understand business requirements, describe statistical and technical implementation strategy, and provide analysis and outcomes from data science models.
- Partner with other teams from different functions to access data elements and understand the business problem and data to be analyzed and solved.
What projects you will take ownership of:
- You will focus on large datasets from multiple digital sources, including web traffic, social media, marketing and advertising campaigns, and customer engagement metrics. You will develop predictive models and algorithms using customer data; forecast digital and media performance metrics, such as customer acquisition, conversion rates, and return on investments.
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Five (5) years of work experience in modeling techniques, python, and SQL with production-quality code.
- Three (3) years of work experience in digital data, web analytics, media data and customer models.
It would be useful if you have:
- Advanced/post-graduate degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related technical field.
- Five (5) years of experience with machine learning algorithms and tools, artificial intelligence, deep learning, and Cloud infrastructure preferably AWS.
- Three (3) years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization, or cross-business projects.
- Experience building large-scale models in production infrastructure.
