In-Room Dining Cashier - Waldorf Astoria Orlando
Waldorf Astoria Orlando is looking for a Full-Time In-Room Dining Cashier to join the Food and Beverage Team! Surrounded by Walt Disney Resort, this luxurious Forbes 4-Star property has 502 rooms, 30,000 square feet of banquet space, and 7 food and beverage outlets. This includes 3 restaurants, 2 bars, a pool, and in-room dining.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. They will bring a positive, customer-focused attitude and a willingness to learn. Prior food and beverage or cashier experience is preferred but not required, and in-room dining experience is a plus.
Shift Pattern: AM and PM Shifts/ Must have availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Typical shifts are 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM.
Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour, plus tips

What will I be doing?
As an In-Room Dining Cashier, you would be responsible for answering room service telephone and takes guests orders accurately in helpful, friendly, courteous and professional manner to ensure total guest satisfaction. Upsells sides, desserts and beverages to enhance profitability. Enters orders into computerized system and settles check upon delivery of the order.
- Promptly answer Room Service calls, announce any specials, promote menu items and answer questions regarding preparation methods.
- Document orders, repeat items back to callers to ensure accuracy and quote expected arrival time with speed and accuracy.
- Immediately input order information into point-of-sale system, allowing kitchen staff to begin preparation; note any special requests clearly. Give food server hard copy of check to be delivered with order.
- Processes payment for orders upon return of the Room Service Server.
- Complies with accounting guidelines regarding receipt of payments, check total verification, tip disbursement, cash drawer and house bank management. Maintains house bank in accordance with policy
- Respond to calls for tray and table pickups, coordinating with buspersons to ensure timely retrieval.
- Respond to guest complaints in a positive manner, negotiate a compromise and implement solution.
