The Hilton Motif Seattle is looking for a talented Housekeeping Manager to help lead the team!

Located on 5th Avenue in the heart of downtown Seattle, this stylish hotel is nestled between Pike Place Market and Union Street and is surrounded by the city's finest restaurants, shopping, entertainment venues, museums and attractions. This sleek urban style hotel features amenities including a vibrant award-winning restaurant offering an extensive outdoor patio with sweeping city views, over 22,000 square feet of meeting space, and 319 newly redesigned rooms.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily housekeeping operations to include room inspections and various administrative duties. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two (2) years of housekeeping management experience and five (5) years of hospitality management.  Knowledge of OnQ / HotSOS systems is highly preferred. This position requires full scheduling flexibility.

The hourly rate for this position is from $31.50-$33.50 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.


What will I be doing?

As a Housekeeping Manager, you would be responsible for managing daily Housekeeping operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Manage daily Housekeeping operations to include, but not limited to, maintaining cleanliness, service and product quality standards of guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms
  • Ensure rooms are clean and available to guests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Manage daily systems use and management, cost controls and overall profitability, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation
  • Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
  • Oversee and conduct room inspections
  • Recruit, interview and train team members
