Job Purpose Statement
As the Food and Beverage Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations in C&E operations, Glass Breakfast, Lobby Lounge, Room Service in this role you will report to the Director of Food and Beverage (F&B) and lead the managers of these departments to ensure financial targets are met, team members are well trained and managed, and excellent guest and member experiences are provided.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
• Oversee operations of selected Food and Beverage Outlets and C&E.
• Collaborate with C&E Operations, Glass Breakfast, Lobby Lounge, Room Service teams to execute the multi-tasking program effectively.
• Maintain exceptional levels of customer service.
• Recruit, manage, train, and develop the team.
• Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Work within budgeted guidelines.
• Assist in setting departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures.
• Develop menus with other members of Food and Beverage team.
• Accountable for monthly stock takes.
• Incentivized Team Members to maximize sales and revenue.
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.
• Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.
• Working closely with Director of C&E and Food and Beverage on forecasting and budgeting.
• Must hold a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification and are responsible for upholding and enforcing all applicable liquor licensing laws, hotel policies, and compliance standards by ensuring alcohol is served responsibly and in accordance with legal requirements at all times.
