Director Mobile Quality Engineering
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Lead multiple QE engineers to improve performance across Hilton’s mobile platform - improving the processes and testing while keeping the focus on enterprise priorities and global recovery efforts.
- Keep up with and incorporate appropriate industry-standard methodologies and trends.
- Continuously review and understand the delivery plan of the mobile applications as they evolve to meet business objectives.
- Apply customer experience and problem-solving skills to help clarify requirements and validate initiatives.
- Facilitate creative planning, assessment, selection, and incorporation of quality engineering tools, process evolution, team financial forecasting, financial management, and other projects as assigned.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Form positive partnerships with other team members across the Hilton digital ecosystem.
- Provide leadership and direction to ensure goals and objectives are met according to plan.
- Be an active mentor, providing performance feedback to direct reports, and communicating results and areas for improvement all while leading by example.
- Collaborate with the team, peers, and partners to help discover and eliminate any issues with testing end-user and workflows.
What projects you will take ownership of:
- Manage QE and quality in the Agile delivery of initiatives.
- Test Case Management, Test Device Strategy Management, and Test Data Strategy.
- Production/post-deployment validation and Metrics Reporting.
- Implementation of Quality Engineering’s Testing Center of Excellence strategies.
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Ten (10) years of professional experience in Technology or a related field
- Eight (8) years of professional experience in Quality Assurance
- Six (6) years of Leadership and Management Experience
- Three (3) years of experience in native mobile apps testing
- Large e-commerce and digital delivery experience
- Collaboration experience of manual and automated testing
- Deep expertise in native mobile application exploration and delivery
- Can travel up to 25%
It would be useful if you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience
- Twelve (12) + years of professional experience in Technology or a related field
- Eight (8) + years of Supervisory Management experience

The annual salary range for this role is $135,000-$185,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
