HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Help lead the MEC function across the America’s region; guide and implement strategies to achieve hotel and portfolio level revenue targets.
  • Represent MEC in and among other area fields including technology and innovation, property level web site support, hotel level email marketing, analytics and digital content/offers.
  • Establish and lead a team that values ownership, accountability, partnership, collaboration and business performance.
  • Utilize analytics to determine direction and priority for all situations, especially with both, forward-looking need period assessment, and historical performance review.
  • Ensure communication with other enterprise teams and partners to accurately represent team activities, progress, and paid media market share as well as conveying and connecting Digital teams with partner initiatives and strategies.
  • Identify and evaluate hotel questions and business needs to craft innovative solutions to support the larger MEC and Enterprise priorities and goals.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Critical partnership with groups like Product Management, Software Development, Salesforce, Analytics, 3rd Party Vendors, and Operations will be key to your success.
  • Will align closely with other MEC Directors across the remit as well as with America’s Marketing Directors to continue to create an impactful leadership group.

What projects you will take ownership of:

  • Partner with our 3rd party hotel-level email marketing vendor including hotel level email marketing including offers, design, templates, audience, reporting, QA, and leveraging new capabilities within our ESP.
  • Manage relationships with the product management and development teams to provide feedback for our property website design, content, and communications.
  • Owns the internal technology and innovation group that drives scalability and efficiency within the MEC and Americas Marketing ecosystem.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Ten (10) years of work experience. Ideally in eCommerce, Digital Marketing, or Product Management.
  • Three (3) years people leadership experience
  • Experience identifying solutions through the use of business tools, technology or platforms
  • Professional experience with the hospitality industry
  • Travel up to 25% depending on location

It would be useful if you have:

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce
  • Master’s degree
