Director, Global Marketing Program Management

As a Director of Global Marketing Program Management, you will support the team in increasing customer acquisition and retention, generate engagement through multi-channel marketing campaigns, and foster recognition of loyalty benefits. On the Strategy & Planning team reporting to Senior Director, Global Brand Marketing you will be leading the global program management function and play a cross-functional leadership role in identifying, designing, and implementing strategic initiatives that impact the portfolio.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Lead and coach a team of Program Managers and Marketing Ops professionals supporting the entire portfolio from strategic development through execution
- Develop the program management function, including processes, roles, and responsibilities in collaboration with colleagues and the leadership team
- Play a cross-functional leadership role in identifying, designing, and implementing strategic initiatives that impact the portfolio
- Lead program teams to define and manage deliverables, facilitate decision-making making, and define risk mitigation strategies/contingencies
- Lead meetings at all levels of the organization to ensure alignment with corporate strategy and to manage the execution of plans to meet objectives
- Develop and utilize key program management tools, processes, and documentation to ensure efficient program planning, execution, monitoring (metrics) and to ensure efficient tracking and reporting
- Manage key program-related reporting and documentation, including monthly reports
- Ensure efficient and effective communication of project-related information to all levels of the organization and external partners
How you will collaborate with others:
- Work closely with the strategy leads and portfolio analytics team to ensure clarity of strategy and goals and define integrated work plans to meet these objectives.
- Partner with content, media, and creative teams to ensure programs and campaigns deliver on strategy and hit key milestones
- Work closely with Finance and cross-functional program teams to establish program-related budgets and resourcing plans, monitor plans, and ensure adherence to budget
What deliverables you will take ownership of:
- Establish and govern a best-in-class annual strategy & planning processes
- Evaluate opportunities for operational efficiencies across internal teams and external partners
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Ten (10) years of work experience in marketing campaign management, project management, or marketing operations
- Five (5) years of experience leading teams
- You are a process expert with experience driving innovation and transformation while leading teams with confidence, influence, and strategic vision
- Experience navigating a matrixed, global organization
- Experience overseeing a complex portfolio of projects or campaigns from start to finish
- Hybrid schedule from McLean, VA office (3 days per week)
- Travel up to 25%
It would be useful if you have:
- Experience with AirTable
- PMP certification
