HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Identify and evaluate business opportunities for further expansion of our brands and communicate the strategy accordingly
- Establish strategies and directions for the area, directing efforts to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of the organization
- Utilize the Business Intelligence tools to research markets and potential opportunities or restrictions for development
- Create and develop visual presentations for the Development team. Pulls, researches or enters data into spreadsheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and/or databases
How you will collaborate with others:
- Organize meetings and events with external partners to increase awareness of Hilton’s positioning in the market
- Maintain and promote good relationships with all team members within Legal, Business Analytics, AD&C, Operations, Feasibility, Brand, Communications, and other Hilton departments in Mclean to streamline the development process
What you will take ownership of:
- Responsible for assembling and circulating all analytics related to growth and pace
- Conduct market-specific research and compile reports for development
- Coordinate the analytics contributions to the development department’s external and internal events such as ALIS, NYU, Lodging etc. all local real estate conferences and development forums
- Coordinate the assembly and distribution of analytics informational packets for development
- Establish procedures and processes in relation to the development goals
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Two (2) years of work experience in analytics
- Advanced proficiency with Salesforce, STR, COGNOS, Co-Star, ArcGIS, Complex Databases and Tableau
- High proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel
- Travel up to 30%
It would be useful if you have:
- Experience with Lodging Econometrics and knowledge of hotel metrics
- College degree
- Development experience
- Knowledge of Hotel branded landscape in the North America Region
