Design Intern - Caribbean & Latin America
***This role will work approximately 20 hours each week and report to our Mexico City office 3-4 days each week***
This is your chance to be part of an in-house Architecture, Design & Construction team that delivers properties that delight our guests, reward our partners, and reflect the unique cultures of their geographical locations! As an Intern on the Design team reporting to the Senior Manager of Design, you will work on projects across Hilton's brand portfolio.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Develop design presentations, gather inspiration imagery, support concept development
- Coordinate with vendors, manage sample orders, handle product specifications/inquiries
- Assist in the design process, contributing to project development and progression
- Create presentation materials for the team
How you will collaborate with others:
- Work with senior designers and project teams to learn and contribute
- Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to gather materials for projects
- Participate in Corporate Office events and programs
What projects you will take ownership of:
- Manage the digital material library and specification catalogs
- Oversee internal brand presentations and project visual updates
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as a graduate student in an accredited design/architecture program
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop)
- Fluency in both English and Spanish
- Work from the Mexico City Regional Office
It would be useful if you have:
- Interest and passion for hospitality design
- Understanding of standardized design process
- Previous internship experience within Design or Architecture Studio
