The ideal Cook candidate is a skilled and motivated cook who brings both experience and passion to the kitchen. They will have at least two years of professional restaurant cooking experience, demonstrating consistent performance in a fast‑paced culinary environment.
This candidate is confident working multiple stations, from grill to sauté to pantry, and understands how to transition smoothly during service. They possess solid culinary foundations, including proper knife skills, efficient prep techniques, and the ability to execute dishes accurately during busy service periods. A strong sense of organization, teamwork, and cleanliness is essential, as is a positive attitude and a desire to grow within a professional kitchen.
Full-Time
Pay Rate: $21.80 per hour
Shift Pattern: Flexible including weekends and holidays
What will I be doing?
As a Cook, you would be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Prepare and execute elevated, high-quality dishes in alignment with The Club’s premium dining standards
Support and guide culinary team members, providing direction, training, and oversight during service.
Execute menu items to specification during breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
Work multiple stations efficiently, including grill, sauté, pantry, or other assigned areas.
Maintain exceptional food presentation and quality, ensuring all menu items meet brand expectations.
Coordinate with leadership and service teams to ensure smooth communication and efficient service flow.
Monitor food inventory levels, assist with ordering, and reduce waste through proper rotation and storage.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, including proper handling, labeling, and cleanliness of all food areas.
Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times.
Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations.
