Overview of Role

A Commercial Analyst with Conrad Hotels and Resorts supports Commercial Senior Leadership team with best-practice guidance and to design and deliver regular as well as ad-hoc commercial analytics. Combine available internal data (sales, activities, systems, etc) along with external data sources to highlight opportunities for improvements in commercial execution.

What will I be doing?

As Commercial Analyst, you are responsible for working closely with the Commercial Senior Leadership team as well as collaborate with other departments. Demonstrate understanding of financial data and sales analytics, report on key trends to allow the department to anticipate necessary strategic or tactical adjustments.  Ability to utilize insights to drive sales and make connections between departments (Finance, F&B) to ensure business goals are met. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Review business plans, identify gaps using market intelligence and ensure proactive measures to fill to capacity and meet targets
  • Support Revenue Management Consolidated Centre (RMCC) with implementation of new packages online ensuring that the necessary content is updated and visible across all online platforms
  • Responsible for managing the Luxury Consortia platforms and implementation of promotions across need dates and maintaining relationship with Luxury Hilton Worldwide Sales (HWS) team
  • Managing the Global Distribution Systems (GDS) advertising campaigns, ensuring the timeliness of the launch and updating the content on a quarterly basis
  • Tracking and monitoring the performance of all online-related tactical promotions and coming up with recommendations for improvements
  • Preparation of Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) – Tracking, submission & processing quarterly payout.  Recommend changes to the SIP where necessary
  • Assist with forecasting and budgeting across all revenue streams - actively involved in meeting including catering pace, BFM, etc.
  • Support the Delphi administrator to ensure Delphi standards are adhered to including Account Management, Bookings & Inquiries and maintaining quality standards
  • Constantly looking for improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of sales processes, subsequently implementing those changes with the support of the leadership team
  • Dealing with questions from hotel ownership where required along with any additional ad-hoc tasks.

  • Passion for sales and for achieving targets and objectives
  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant field would be advantageous
