Breakfast Busperson - Embassy Suites by Hilton Miami International Airport
Embassy Suites by Hilton Miami International Airport is searching for a talented Full-Time Breakfast Busperson to join their team! As a Breakfast Busperson, you will primarily be responsible for clearing tables, maintaining a well-stocked breakfast buffet, and assisting in the dish pit as needed.
The ideal candidate will have prior food and beverage experience, excellent multitasking skills, a strong work ethic, and be familiar with high-volume operations. This position offers an exceptional entry-level opportunity for individuals eager to grow their career in the food and beverage industry. Hotel experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Shift Pattern: AM Shift/ Full availability is needed including weekdays, weekends, and holidays/ Typical shift hours are 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM.
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

What will I be doing?
As a Breakfast Busperson, you would be responsible for preparing and replenishing food and beverage service in the Complimentary Breakfast to deliver an excellent guest experience and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Complete opening and closing side work, including stocking chinaware, silverware, and tableware; tending to the coffee machine or grinder; retrieving food and beverages from the kitchen; and delivering them to the Complimentary Breakfast area.
- Restock, clean, and organize the kitchen and designated service areas.
- Organize and display breakfast items and rearrange chairs and tables as needed.
- Set and prepare tables for dining, including folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, and serving water.
- Monitor inventory and ensure the quality condition of all chinaware, silverware, and tableware, reporting any defects for repair.
- Assist servers with table service, including serving beverages.
- Clear dirty table settings, reset tables, and transport used tableware to the dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and issues in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Wash dishes and operate the dishwasher to clean plateware, silverware, and cooking utensils for restaurants and banquet functions.
- Transport, store, and prepare clean serviceware for events and functions.
- Burnish, de-tarnish, and polish serviceware as needed.
- Stock and maintain supplies and equipment.
- Perform cleaning duties, including mopping and removing trash.
