BOX Bar & Restaurant Manager

BOX Bar & Kitchen is a destination restaurant located trackside at the home of the Formula One British Grand Prix Silverstone Circuit at the newly opened Hilton Garden Inn Silverstone for guests that are seeking an unforgettable experience all while overlooking the views of the action from the Hamilton Straight.

What will I be doing?

As the Restaurant & Bar Manager for BOX Bar & Kitchen, you are responsible for managing day-to-day restaurant operations to deliver and excellent guest experience. You will also be required to manage, train, and develop your team members to be able to deliver high levels of service to delight guests while also maximising revenue opportunities.

In this role you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
• Manage Restaurant service operations across Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner service achieving and maintaining the highest levels of service
• Able to manage a restaurant serving on average 1200 covers per week across all serving periods

• Recruit, manage, train and develop the team members working in BOX Bar & Kitchen
• Manage guest requests in a timely and efficient manner
• Work within budgeted guidelines in relation to Food and Payroll
• Drive sales to maximize revenue
• Work with the F&B Manager & Head Chef to engineer menus ensuring the offering is on trend and meeting guests expectations.
• Incentivise team members to encourage upselling to contribute towards revenue growth
• Adhere to Hilton policies and procedures in regards to Food Safety and Health and Safety
• Ensure productive briefings are conducted with regular communication with your team and other members of the management team
• Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain excellent working relationships

Hotel experience is not essential for this role but is beneficial and this role would suit an individual working at either management or supervisory level in a high standard, busy restaurant environment who is looking to head up a new team at a world famous destination in the flagship Hilton Garden Inn hotel in the UK.
