A Banquet and Group Auditor will ensure proper administrative, operational and financial control of hotel banquets and groups, Auditor verify that contract services are delivered as agreed and that billing accurately reflects actual consumption, ensuring correct revenue care and prevent losses  



What will I be doing?

 

As Banquet and Group Auditor, you will audit Banquets and Group reports by collecting necessary information from Food and Beverage an Front office and recommending improvements as required. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Audit Banquet Event Orders (BEO's) Before, during and after events
  • Verify the services, food and beverages delivered match what was contracted 
  • Control actual consumption versus budgeted amounts Food, Beverage and equipment)
  • Validate event setups, schedules, number of attendees and last-minute changes. 
  • Review pricing, discounts, complementary items and extra charges.
  • Coordinate with Banquets, Sales, Kitchen and service departments to resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare audit reports and document any variances identified.
  • Approve or reject final charges prior to invoicing. 
  • Identify revenue leakage risks and propose control improvements.
  • ensure compliance with internal policies and hotel standard.

A Banquet and group Auditor serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:

  • Experience in the hotel / Banquets
  • Possess strong organizational skills
  • A good understanding of financial operating systems and procedures
  • Strong influencing, inter-personal and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Previous Accounts/Finance experience, preferably within a hotel environment
  • Experience with the OnQ system
