Associate Field Services Technology Manager

As an Associate Field Services Technology Manager, you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the Technology Field Services Southeast team reporting to the Senior Manager Technology Field Services Florida, you will support projects including communicating Company initiatives and procedures, while delivering IT and Telecom solutions that align with Corporate and Brand standards.
What you'll do during a typical day:
- Provide support to the multiple hotels in the Orlando metropolitan area. Periodically you may also taskforce in other cities and regions.
- Ensure that the implementation and upgrades of major systems are completed on time and within budget, with minimal impact on hotel operation by providing end-user training, support, and assistance.
- Evaluate property needs / technology solutions to improve profit, operations, and guest experience, and ensure Hilton technical standard is implemented in regional properties.
- Prepare a status report of all technical and operational activities and participate in corporate, property departmental, and operations meetings.
- Advise on, maintain, and support property infrastructure, including servers, backups, property LAN and WAN, telecom systems.
How you'll collaborate with others:
- Work within the IT Capex budget of each property as approved by the ownership and regional IT leadership.
- Work with Hilton Support Technology Center (HTSC) and all vendors to ensure the resolution of IT challenges and outages.
- Manage the support calls initiated by HTSC or vendors for systems and applications not supported by HSC Serving as onsite contact for HTSC or vendors.
Projects you'll take ownership of:
- Onboard Team Members and deploying technology tools.
- Maintain documentation for each managed property in the region.
- Supporting the Corporate Team, Field Services IT Managers and Regional Directors as needed with a variety of projects.
What It Takes to Make the Stay
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Professional work experience in Technology or related field
- Experience working in IT field support, desktop support, or an onsite technical support environment
- IT field (Telecom, Technology) experience in the hospitality, retail, or related industries
- Willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and on-call based on business needs.
- Travel approximately 10% as needed
It would be useful if you have:
- Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 2+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 4+ years of Technology related experience.
- Three (3) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
- Two (2) years of experience in Hospitality, Operations, and IT support roles
- Experience administering networks in a Windows Server and workstation environment
- Knowledge of network infrastructure, including cabling, wireless networks, network switches, WAN/LAN, domain controller, Active Directory, firewall, and VPN
- Experience with the following Hospitality related core-systems: PMS, POS, Keycard, and PBX
