Analyst, Revenue Management Support
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Build, maintain, and quality check new offers in CRS, GDS, and direct distribution channels.
- Manipulate SQL queries to quality check data entered and improve Quality Check processes.
- Support hotel inquiries via email and ticket submission processes and document the findings thoroughly.
- Proactively audit and analyze Special Rate Plans (SRPs), rates, and accounts across all distribution channels regularly for issues.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Work with other Corporate teams on special project/program requests that impact CRS, GDS, OTA, and direct distribution channels.
- Work internally with other teams to craft objectives and achievements that support the broader Commercial Services objectives.
- Support other team members when demand is high by sharing the workload regardless of your core team responsibilities.
What projects you will take ownership of:
- Create and maintain internal and external training and technical documentation for all team-facing and hotel-facing processes.
- Implement efficiencies using automation or streamlining that save time and money or generate additional revenue.
- Collect and document business requirements and design test plans to ensure that projects and efficiencies are deployed accurately.
- Facilitate testing among users, compile all test results, and actively communicate to ensure all issues are resolved post-deployment.
- Build and maintain Personal Development Plans and actively participate in opportunities to learn offered by the team or department.
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- One (1) year of professional experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience managing multiple projects within set timeframes and resource constraints
It would be useful if you have:
- One (1) year of project management experience
- Five (5) years of professional experience in the travel industry, distribution systems, and/or technical development roles
- Proficiency with MS Access, SQL, VB.NET, and/or VBA
- Experience working with OnQ R&I and/or GDS
