Accounts Payable Manager
The Accounts Payable Manager is a vital role within the finance team, acting as a trusted advisor to finance team members and hotel business partners. The role focuses on maintaining a robust control and compliance environment while supporting the finance department in maximizing profit and implementing finance innovations and projects. This position also assists in the recruitment, retention, and training of best-in-class finance professionals.
The Accounts Payable Manager ensures timely, accurate payments and effective management of the hotel’s accounts payable process. They are also integral in providing support to the hotel’s overall finance team, working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to drive the department’s success.
As an Accounts Payable Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading Accounts Payable Operations: Oversee the Accounts Payable department to ensure efficient operation in full compliance with hotel policies, regulations, and contractual frameworks.
- Payment Processing: Ensure timely and accurate payments, including supplier and vendor management, ensuring all invoices are processed and paid correctly.
- Control and Compliance: Maintain strong internal controls and compliance within accounts payable processes to mitigate financial risks.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Partner with hotel finance team members, as well as key internal departments such as Human Resources, Supply Management, Commercial, and Operations.
- Team Development: Support the Finance Lead in developing a high-performing finance team, actively participating in recruitment, training, and ongoing professional development programs.
- Analysis and Reporting: Manage large volumes of financial data and ensure accurate reconciliation of accounts payable and related accounts.
- Operational Support: Assist in the overall smooth operation of the Finance Department, providing support as needed.

Additional Preferences:
- University degree in Accounting or Finance
- Knowledge of operations to include all aspects
