VP, HR Consulting
What are we looking for?
We believe the success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:
- Deep understanding of the principles and practical application of HR functions in a global corporate environment
- Outstanding critical thinking, combined with both quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and the ability to use sound judgment, logic, and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
- Excellent written and verbal communication and comprehension skills, including articulating complex analytical topics to a wide audience, who may or may not be familiar with analytics or the subject matter
- Ability to always exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
- Ability to stay calm and effective while handling multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritizing responsibilities
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work internally across all teams as well as externally with partners and vendors
- Comfort in a highly visible role that requires sound judgment, strong and tested leadership skills, and significant experience in a constantly evolving, dynamic organization
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
- Problem solver, who solves issues effectively and creatively while maintaining a high level of flexibility, professionalism, and integrity
To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
- Fifteen (15) years of professional experience working in a global, corporate, matrixed environment
- Ten (10) years of experience in an HR Consulting, HR Business Partner, Organizational Design, or Talent Management role
- Eight (8) years of experience at Director or above level; leading diverse teams
- Travel as needed
It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Prior experience as lead HR business partner at the chief executive level
- Prior experience in Employee Relations or working closely with employee relations as an HRBP
- Prior experience supporting client groups in business development, real estate, and/or finance
- Broad global understanding of relevant employment legislation
- Prior experience that includes a deep understanding of budgets, reconciliation, and forecasting, as well as risk and compliance
