What will I be doing?
Vice President Americas Business Development, Hilton Supply Management (HSM) will serve as a member of the HSM senior leadership team and drive the overall creation and delivery of HSM's go-to-market and customer management strategy. This position will develop a group of customer engagement specialists and strategic account managers to lead our growth strategy and enter new markets while delivering outstanding customer service. You will report to the Global Head of HSM and collaborate with all partners and senior-level executives to promote and successfully market the HSM brand. The position will have 5-6 direct reports and lead a team of 20+ individuals across the Americas regions.
More specifically, you will:
- Build a marketing strategy crafted to garner new business and meet new business targets.
- Work closely with existing accounts to identify new opportunities and maintain business volume expectations, including FF&E Packages, Freight, and Logistics Package sales.
- Establish annual business growth targets and metrics for regional performance.
- Maintain and report on current accounts, pipeline status, territory status, network growth, and meeting targets for qualified prospects.
- Lead all aspects of analyzing competitor data metrics by gathering current marketplace information on pricing and customer service processes.
- Resolve customer complaints utilizing a consultative strategy to investigate problems and develop solutions.
- Develop and deploy a customer promise strategy that defines HSM's customer engagement model and differentiates our service delivery and management of strategic accounts.
- Use data analytics to synthesize customer acumen.
- Respond to customer RFPs for procurement.
- Lead all aspects of the development of RFx for procurement design projects.
- Provide a strong customer-focused, data-driven methodology to drive innovation and build value.

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- Eight (8+) years of experience in business development or strategic sales.
- Five (5+) years of management or supervisory experience.
- 40% travel time.
It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- BA/BS Bachelor's and/or MS/MA/Master's Degree.
- Ten (10+) years of experience in consulting, supply management, project management, strategic design, and development, or business operations.
- Seven (7+) years of management experience.
