Spa Therapist - Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah
A Spa Therapist is responsible for providing professional treatments and services for guests, including but not limited to body and facial treatments, massages, home care advice and tour of the facilities. Maintaining safety and cleanliness and ensuring guest satisfaction regarding all areas of Spa services in accordance with luxury Spa and Forbes standards.
What will I be doing?
As a Spa Therapist, you are responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Provide unforgettable spa experiences to our guests by knowing the guest preferences and tailor service accordingly.
- Follow Forbes standards from point of arrival through check out.
- Accurately explain the spa treatment menu and packages to guests.
- Assist in scheduling massage reservations including changes and cancellations via Book4Time.
- Assist in coverage the Spa reception whenever needed.
- Promote the Spa and relaxation area throughout the hotel to increase bookings (e.g. during breakfast time, in leisure areas such as the pool and beach).
- Upsells Spa retail (e.g. Voya, QMS).
- Accurately processes all billing and posting for spa and retail services.
- To ensure high standards of cleanliness in the department.
- To be fully aware of current and future services offered by the hotel.
- To ensure that departmental operation budget is adhered to, maximizing revenues and minimizing expenses.
- Attending Hilton Trainings and monthly departmental meetings as required.
- To report any maintenance issues to the Spa Manager or Supervisor.
- To contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance operational/environmental procedures in the Hotel.

A Spa Therapist serving Hilton Brand hotels is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that represent Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah:
- Experience in hospitality or customer service industry is required
- Good communication skills to personalise the Spa journey for guests
- Good command of English
- Hold a professional Spa therapist certification
- Be a team player to support colleagues
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Experience in a resort or wellness related field
- Additional language skills other than English
