Social Media Specialist
We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Specialist to support and execute our social media strategy across key digital platforms. Reporting to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, this role combines hands-on content creation with structured planning and performance tracking.
You will play an important role in elevating the hotel’s online presence through engaging storytelling, consistent publishing, and collaboration with both internal stakeholders and external photo and video professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Execute the social media strategy in alignment with overall digital marketing objectives
- Manage day-to-day publishing across platforms and channels
- Maintain and update the editorial calendar, ensuring consistency and relevance
- Monitor trends, platform updates, and competitor activity
Content Creation & Production
- Develop engaging in-house content including photos, videos, reels, stories, and copywriting
- Lead and support on-site content creation (events, activations, behind-the-scenes, as well as employer branding initiatives)
- Ensure brand consistency across all content formats and channels
Creative Coordination
- Coordinate professional photo and video shoots
- Liaise with external photographers, videographers, and creative agencies
- Support briefing, content selection, and delivery timelines
- Ensure alignment with brand standards and campaign objectives
Campaign Execution
- Support the rollout of digital campaigns across social platforms
- Collaborate with Marketing, PR, HR and Operations teams to amplify key initiatives
- Assist in managing influencer collaborations and partnerships
Performance & Analytics
- Track and analyze key social media metrics (engagement, reach, growth, conversions)
- Prepare regular performance reports and dashboards
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimization
Community Management
- Manage and respond to comments and direct messages in a timely manner
- Foster a positive and engaging online community
- Identify opportunities to increase audience interaction and brand loyalty
Requirements
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in social media or digital marketing
- Strong content creation skills (photo, video, editing tools such as Adobe Suite, Canva, CapCut, etc.)
- Solid understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills
- Experience coordinating with external creatives or agencies
- Analytical mindset with familiarity in reporting tools
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Fluent in Italian and English
