Senior Manager, Portfolio Management (Capacity Planning)
What are we looking for?
We believe the success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:
- Ability to creatively solve diverse problems in an ambiguous and constantly evolving environment with minimal direction and oversight
- Management of tactical frameworks and processes with the ability to map out timelines and key work for multi-functional teams and complete those timelines
- Leading projects of various complexity and breadth with experience in defining key business issues, assessing potential solutions, and providing critical recommendations
- Experience defining and achieving project/program results with a high standard of quality and accuracy across a broad scope of platforms, teams, systems, and tools
- Ability to build relationships internally and externally and collaborate effectively on multi-functional teams with varying leadership styles, political environments, and changes in priorities
To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
- Seven (7) years of professional experience
- Five (5) years of experience working in a software development and/or Agile development-related field/organization
- Five (5) years of experience using JIRA for reporting and development planning
- Travel up to 10% to Hilton corporate offices in Dallas, Memphis, and McLean
It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Twelve (12) years of professional experience
- Five (5) years of Capacity Planning and Management experience
- Three (3) years of Portfolio Planning, Governance, and/or Technology Program Management experience
- Working experience in ServiceNow or full administration of Jira and/or other Portfolio Management Tools (i.e., EasyBI)
