HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Supervise the production of monthly financial performance reporting and analysis, identify key trends and business drivers that impact financial performance
  • Manage the creation of consolidated global Marketing presentation materials, which offer insightful analysis, highlight risks & opportunities, and focus on qualitative and quantitative issues
  • Use Oracle PeopleSoft, Hyperion Financial Systems, and Microsoft Excel to maintain, update and continuously improve financial forecast accuracy
  • Provide financial support to marketing investment opportunities, prepare analysis, and share insight to help advise decisions.
  • Evaluate and streamline business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness, creating more time for strategic support

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Lead and develop a cross-functional team of analysts, and drive projects from initiation to completion
  • Represent Marketing & Loyalty in collaborating closely with Accounts Payable, Procurement, and third-party suppliers; support timely payment processing, supplier maintenance, and redemption partner reconciliations

What projects you will take ownership of:

  • Develop an annual operating plan by identifying financial and/or operational opportunities through detailed analysis of financials
  • Develop financial models to identify areas of financial risk and opportunity to ensure annual expense targets are met
  • Establish a governance framework to drive consistency and precision across all aspects of financial management (actual, forecast, procurement, payment)
  • Provide support to VP Global Brands & Commercial Services (GBCS) Finance, VP Global FP&A, and Accounting as required

WHY YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Six (6) years of work experience in financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, or equivalent experience in finance and/or accounting
  • Two (2) years of people management experience
  • Strong Accounting knowledge, specifically around GAAP principles of accruals, cost allocation, and amortization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite, including experience building financial models using Microsoft Excel

It would be useful if you have:

  • BA/BS/MS/MA Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting
  • Eight (8) years of work experience in financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, or equivalent experience in finance and/or accounting
  • Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft, Hyperion Essbase, SmartView
