HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

As the Senior Manager, Commercial Enablement Openings – Asia Pacific (APAC), you will be supporting the Commercial Director, New Openings – APAC to develop and deliver a structure and team which will improve commercial performance, sales effectiveness and market share across our APAC estate. This will be delivered through focusing on delivering best practices and innovation to our on-property and regional commercial teams.

This role will develop and implement strategic initiatives for improving commercial performance in all segments including sales influenced segments, such as demand and conversion performance and team development across APAC ramp up hotels for on property Sales and Groups, Meetings & Events (GM&E) Team members. They will ensure clear communication plans are actioned to deadlines. Key platforms are up to date with accurate and relevant assets, analysis delivered to support strategy decisions, build and socialize performance management KPIs and communication tools are engaging and to deadlines.

The role will engage frequently with hotels and management company representatives to support them to build their own commercial action plans, providing strategic advice and address questions about Hilton's business processes and products, ensuring their teams are making full use of the Hilton’s commercial engine. The role is required to work with the Openings & Operations support team and Revenue Management Openings support team to ensure the right processes are built and adhered to ensure smooth hotel transition from pre-opening teams to post-opening support functions.

WHY YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in hospitality / equivalent creative roles, preferably with on-property hotel experience
  • General commercial awareness and understanding of drivers of commercial performance across sales-driven segments
  • Ability to work effectively to deliver for multiple stakeholder groups, that includes senior leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to manage complexity without supervision
  • Effective planning and project management skills and capabilities
  • Experience in actioning multiple projects, meeting deadlines and working effectively under time / resource constraints
  • Strong communication skills in presentations, written and public speaking
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and effectively develop solutions based on problem statements
