What are we looking for?

The Senior Manager will be expected to project manage initiatives from opportunity intake to delivery and lead cross-functional projects or workstreams with limited oversight.

In evaluating white space strategic opportunities and figuring out recommended solutions, this person will:

  • Evaluate business opportunities through desktop market analysis, financial evaluation, and fit with Hilton
  • Analyze macro-trends, competitor movement, and white space against customer and owner insights, alignment with organizational priorities, and Hilton’s right to win
  • Shepherd working teams through discovery to find solutions that will drive guest satisfaction and drive revenue or improve profitability for Hilton and our owners
  • Develop an overall project direction, strategy, and objectives

In delivering solutions to our owners, operators, and brand support teams, the Senior Manager will be expected to:

  • Lead cross-functional working teams to ensure collaboration and facilitate extraordinary work
  • Build a formulaic and repeatable process of defining and sequencing workstreams, setting project timelines, and holding teams accountable to meeting objectives
  • Ensure successful adoption downstream (and tools to measure) and create accountability within the organization

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Five (5) years in a global matrixed organization on strategy, marketing, finance, or economic analysis
  • Three (3) years working on strategic projects and initiatives - ability to start with a blank slate, operationalize the final solution, and lead all the steps in between
  • Three (3) years leading cross-functional projects
  • Three (3) years of experience using analytical, problem-solving, and ambiguous undefined processes

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree or equivalent on-the-job experience
  • Five (5) years in hospitality, corporate strategy, or innovation
  • Travel as required
  • Proven experience running complex cross-functional projects
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, newly established environment
  • Flexibility and openness to work on anything and everything all at once
  • A champion for change, willing to challenge the status quo
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Exceptional communication skills and comfort with constituents at all levels of the organization
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence
  • Strong financial and analytical skills and proficiency in using data to inform and drive key decisions
  • Exceptional attention to detail
