Senior Lead Cloud Engineer, Windows Server
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Manage project pipelines, consult business and application teams on our cloud patterns, and build solutions using infrastructure as code tools (IAC) and processes.
- Support the Hilton Hybrid Cloud environment, including participation in on-call rotations, and work alongside other engineering teams.
- Build detailed engineering documentation using the Atlassian suite of tools and use ServiceNow to engage production ITSM processes.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Provide technical and cultural leadership to other HIlton teams about operating Microsoft technologies in the Hilton Hybrid Cloud.
- Collaborate with all project stakeholders to establish all dependencies, timelines, work effort, success criteria, compliance to Hilton security standards, and document project details.
What projects you will take ownership of:
- Evaluate on-prem Windows Server-based apps and determine the best cloud architecture, migration path, and execution plan.
- Promote automation and self-service in the cloud for Microsoft technologies.
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Seven (7) years of professional experience within Technology or a related field.
- Five (5) years of experience as an engineer in a large enterprise environment building high-volume systems on hybrid networks with experience in Active Directory and Windows Server engineering or administration.
- Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools, AWS Command Line and PowerShell or Windows shell scripting experience.
- Well versed in crafting or implementing cloud automation processes using tools like GitLab, Bamboo, Packer, Ansible, Vault, or similar technologies.
It would be useful if you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience.
- Preference for professional certifications in AWS cloud (Associate or Professional) or Microsoft Windows Server technologies.
- Expertise with security concepts around cloud technologies and network management.

The annual salary range for this role is $120,000-$165,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
