What are we looking for?

The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:

  • In conjunction with the Marketing Centers of Excellence, develop strategies and set direction of brand positioning and marketing strategy for Lifestyle Brands globally, in service of driving business results and brand love.
  • Identify core research, analytics, and metrics to advise consumer insights, drive efficiency of marketing executions, and develop strong, engaging creative.
  • Identify new opportunities to drive awareness, attract and retain specific target customer groups to our Lifestyle brands.
  • Build and support a high-impact digital storefront including Brand.com and owned channel presence that drives conversion.
  • Resolve and lead the appropriate agency roster to support the needs of Lifestyle Brands.
  • Partner with all Global Marketing Centers of Excellence to plan, develop, implement, and measure high-impact campaigns.
  • Plan and implement media strategies to achieve brand marketing goals, in collaboration with Media Strategy & Planning, Social Media Centers of Excellence, and agencies of record.
  • Supervise success and opportunities for improvement in a test-and-learn environment to enhance return on investment.
  • Build effective sponsorships/partnerships to connect core brand initiatives with third parties and reach new lifestyle target audiences in support of coordinated global brand strategies.
  • Support Hilton's franchise development marketing efforts as needed.
  • Enable a growing portfolio of hotels to market themselves locally by crafting and maintaining centralized tools and resources aligned with established brand identity guidelines.
  • Develop partnerships up, down, across, and diagonally within the Hilton Enterprise, with a focus on key partners like Owners, Category and Global Brand Heads, and Brand Performance Support.
  • Collaborate closely with Enterprise Marketing, Hilton Honors Marketing, regional teams in the Americas, EMEA & APAC, Brand Communications, Media Strategy & Planning, Marketing Execution, B2B Marketing, Marketing Performance, Sales, and others as needed.
  • Develop and oversee the Lifestyle Brands marketing budget, including the ratio of working to non-working dollars and monthly forecasting and actuals reconciliation.
  • Lead and/or support other leaders in high priority Marketing & Loyalty initiatives that may fall outside of the Lifestyle brand category core remit.
  • Promote Hilton’s sustainability and DE&I goals in everything you do!
  • Recruit and mentor best-in-class talent while building a hard-working, thriving environment to promote a highly engaged, success motivated team culture.

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Ten (10) years of experience in brand marketing and/or advertising/marketing agency roles
  • At least Six (6) years of team management experience
  • Proven experience identifying and implementing new opportunities for brand marketing
  • MS Teams and MS Office proficiency with advanced PowerPoint skills
  • 15% travel 

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree and/or Advanced degree (MBA in Marketing or related field)
  • Global/cross-cultural experience
  • Knowledge of franchise organizations
  • Partnership Marketing experience
  • Experience working in a Centers of Excellence marketing model
