Senior Analyst, Development Analytics
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Conduct analysis to identify business opportunities for the Development and Brands organizations to improve performance. Support additional teams within Communications, Human Resources, Commercial Services, and other areas with Development analysis and perspective.
- Production of dashboards to provide greater access to Development data throughout organization and reduce ad-hoc demand, as well as maintenance of current dashboards.
- Conduct outstanding economic, industry, and competitive analysis, with insights supporting leaders throughout the company. Results include competitive analyses, economic and industry updates, presentation materials for leaders’ internal and external speaking engagements, and strategic ad hoc analyses.
- Support the Senior Manager Development Analytics, the Director of Brand, Enterprise & Development Analytics, and the Vice President of Customer & Enterprise Analytics on additional initiatives and analysis as needed, including the Quarterly Business Review and Quarterly Earnings processes which support Hilton’s Executive Committee.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Deeply integrate & partner with the teams that rely on Development data and forecasting, including Finance, Brands, and Development.
- Collaborate with teams on multi-functional critical initiatives, integrating the Development perspective into the overall Hilton’s success story.
- Cross-train with Enterprise and Brand Analytics teams.
What projects you will take ownership of:
- Develop expertise with the Development process and data to provide incisive analysis, as well as coordinate the transition and automation of the current reporting process.
- Competitive positioning modeling and analysis, including improving the outlook modeling process that optimally supports long-term planning across the company.
WHY YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Three (3) years of work experience in an Analytics or Finance function.
- Advanced skills using Excel and Tableau
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
It would be useful if you have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Analytics, Business, Economics, or Finance
- Experience using Alteryx
- Experience in the Hospitality industry
