What are we looking for?

The successful candidate in this role will have the following attributes and skills:

  • Excel Expertise: Outstanding Excel skills, including the ability to create pivot tables; use advanced functions; clean data via filters; as well as create macros, formulas, conditional formatting, drop-downs and advanced charts.
  • Data Fluency: Ability to interrogate, visualize and share data in a simple, easy-to-understand way.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects on deadlines. 
  • Growth Mindset: Demonstrated curiosity and desire to learn new skills.
  • Collaboration: Strong listener and good ‘question-asker’ to deeply understand team needs before performing the work.
  • Bias for Action: Desire to move forward expediently and make an impact on the business.
  • Agility: With support from the Sr. Director, ability to shift directions quickly in lockstep with the needs of the business and alongside our partners.
  • Accountability: Ownership of projects, results, and recommendations.
  • Problem-solving: Ability to resolve issues openly and creatively, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Two (2) years of professional experience in a data-oriented role
  • Strong analytical skills and Excel skills

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Ability to explain complex data sets in simple terms
  • Strong growth mindset and sense of curiosity
  • Experience synthesizing a broad variety of data sets, including 1st-party, digital syndicated, and survey data
  • Tableau and Power BI familiarity
  • Passion for travel, hospitality, wellness and/or Food & Beverage
