What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Security Officer who is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of safety and security while delivering exceptional service aligned with our goal of achieving Forbes 5-Star recognition. This role requires someone who approaches every guest interaction with refinement, attentiveness, and a genuine sense of interest in ensuring their well-being. The ideal candidate will be vigilant, proactive, and poised, with the ability to handle emergency situations with calm and professionalism. You will contribute to the hotel’s reputation for safety, luxury, and extraordinary service while ensuring that all team members and guests feel secure and well cared for.

The following reflects the required and / or preferred certificates, licensures, and experience:

  • Valid FLSD – COF – T89 License is required.
  • OSHA General Industry Authorized Trainer certification preferred.
  • CLSD (Certified Loss Prevention Specialist) certification preferred.
  • CPP (Certified Protection Professional) certification preferred.
  • A keen eye for detail with the ability to identify potential security risks and safety hazards quickly and accurately.
  • A proactive, vigilant approach to maintaining a secure environment while still delivering friendly and professional guest service.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently, ensuring a safe outcome.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with both guests and team members in a courteous and professional manner.
  • A refined demeanor with the ability to engage guests in a genuine, approachable, and calm manner, ensuring they feel secure and valued.
  • A commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and high ethical standards.
  • Ability to work independently, showing initiative and responsibility in managing security-related tasks and incidents.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
