A Sales Executive analyses local market trends and competitor activity to generate new future business for the hotel.

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Analyze local market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads
  • Proactively identify and pursue new corporate business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key corporate clients.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and site inspections.
  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Negotiate room rates/contracts and close sales deals with corporate clients
  • Actively and independently manage a portfolio of corporate accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty
  • Answer customer queries in a prompt and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
  • Compile and create commercial reports and statistics
  • Attend Sales events, as required
  • Collaborate with marketing to create tailored promotional materials, including social media channels
  • Support the Cluster Commercial Manager with administrative and marketing tasks
  • Pro-actively seek opportunities to give a helping hand to the operations team through times of stress to help driving a very high level of cross-departmental collaboration

  • Commitment to high-level customer service.
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations  
  • Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative
  • Proven sales experience and track record.
  • Knowledge of the local market and hospitality industry is a plus.
