Sales Executive
What will I be doing:
- Build relationships with clients and develop an understanding of their needs and requirements and provide solutions to match in order to convert the business
- Actively promote the hotel facilities by entertaining clients and agents as necessary
- Conduct tours of inspections (TOI) of the hotel with potential clients
- Conduct regular Sales updates to clients
- Attend Trade shows around New Zealand if required
- Ensure all reports are produced as requested by Management
- Collate market intelligence
- Research potential opportunities
- Have an understanding and knowledge of our competitors strengths and weaknesses
- Develop and maintain a broad range of product knowledge about the Hotel
- Update and maintain accurate account profiles in the database systems e.g. Delphi
- Actively work as a member of the team, contributing to maximising revenue and generate business
It would be an advantage for the successful candidate to have:
- Two years in a similar role, preferably within a hotel chain environment
