Reservations Coordinator
As a Reservation Coordinator, you will manage booking inquiries and assist guests in planning their stay at our hotel. Your role involves handling reservations, providing detailed information about hotel offerings, and ensuring a smooth and professional booking process.
You will work closely with other departments to ensure that guest preferences and special requests are communicated effectively. Your exceptional communication skills and attention to detail will contribute to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
What will I be doing?
As a Reservation Coordinator, you will serve as the first line of inquiry for room reservations within the hotel. A Reservation Coordinator is responsible for offering excellent customer service, options, and other solutions to meet Guest and customer needs. Specifically, a Reservations Coordinator will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Customer Service Excellence:
Handle reservation inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels in a courteous and professional manner.
Provide guests with detailed information about the hotel’s services, amenities, and promotions to support their decision-making process.
- Booking Management:
Accurately process bookings, cancellations, and modifications in the reservations system.
Ensure all guest preferences, special requests, and billing details are recorded correctly.
- Collaboration & Communication:
Liaise with Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure guest requirements are met.
Communicate effectively with team members to address guest concerns or special needs.
- Upselling & Revenue Support:
Recommend room upgrades, packages, and additional services to maximize revenue and enhance guest satisfaction.
Identify opportunities to promote hotel offers and loyalty programs.
- Accuracy & Record-Keeping:
Maintain accurate and organized records of all reservations and related correspondence.
Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures for reservations.
- Problem Resolution:
Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, escalating issues to the supervisor if necessary.
Provide prompt and effective solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
