The Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace team are looking for a full-time Receiving Clerk to join their team. 

Ideal candidate would be someone who has previous experience in receiving, customer service, and hospitality experience. Someone who has previous experience with birchstreet or smart spend will be helpful, being computer and tech savvy is required.

Shift Pattern: Open availability Monday - Sunday - Start time 6 or 7 AM-3:30 PM/4:30pm (weekends as needed)

Pay Rate: $17.68 per hour

What will I be doing?

Accepts all purchased products into the hotel, verifying accuracy of delivery to purchase orders. Maintains storeroom in accordance with standards and rotates stock accordingly. Issues and delivers items to departments in accordance with the requisition policies and procedures. Conducts Inventories.

  • Essential Functions
    • Average Percent of Time
      • 20 % Enters all non-edible merchandise into the computer, nothing the received status shortages and all the other required information so all merchandise is accounted for. Prepares all outgoing records.
      • 20% Notifies person responsible for ordering merchandise when shipment arrives or if the shipment fails to arrive so that any discrepancies can be resolved. Signs, dates and time stamps all invoices on the respective receiving sheet, ensuring times are correctly identified. 
      • 20% Assists in the daily operation of the food storeroom, properly stores and rotates all stock so that all items and fresh; involves transportation of heavy goods. 
      • 20% Fill Requisitions to authorize outlets so all stock will be complete at each outlet and advises supervisor of items that are low or out-of-stock so they can be reordered. 
      • 20% Responsible for checking each item on the invoice against the applicable hotel document, weighing, counting, verifying prices on each item and checking these against specifications to verify accuracy of delivery and also for responsible for checking in and delivering all guest packages

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company. 

  • Performs any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned to adhere to health standards.
  • Performs other duties as requested such as cleaning up spills or special customer requests.
