At Hilton, our Team Members are the Heart of Our Success. We are currently seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed Payroll Specialist to join our team at Canopy by Hilton Seychelles and Mango House Seychelles ,LXR Hotels & Resorts.

In this vital role, you will ensure that every Team Member is paid accurately and on time, while maintaining compliance with Hilton standards and local labor regulations. You will work closely with both HR and Finance teams to support payroll processes, handle statutory reporting, and serve as the trusted point of contact for all payroll-related matters.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly payroll for all employee categories, including calculations of service charge, gratuities, overtime, holiday pay, allowances, and deductions.

  • Verify attendance records, approved overtime, and leave reports with department heads and Timekeepers.

  • Manage data integrity within Time & Attendance systems and integrate with payroll software.

  • Ensure compliance with Hilton policies, internal controls, and local labor laws.

  • Submit statutory contributions (Pension Fund, Social Security, Income Tax) and prepare audit reports.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records in both digital and physical formats.

  • Serve as the primary contact for Team Member payroll queries, providing prompt and professional support.

  • Conduct payroll orientation during onboarding and exit interviews.

  • Recommend improvements to payroll processes, participate in system upgrades, and collaborate with Cluster or Corporate HR teams for standardization.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2–3 years of payroll experience in the hotel industry or multi-property environment (Hilton experience highly preferred).

  • Strong understanding of payroll systems, labor laws, statutory regulations, and hospitality standards.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; experience with Time & Attendance and HRIS platforms.

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.

  • High integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.

  • Certification in Payroll or HR Administration is a plus.
