Oscar's Cafe & Terrace Junior Supervisor (Conrad Centennial Singapore)
A Oscar's Cafe & Terrace Junior Supervisor with Conrad Hotels and Resorts is responsible for working in the respective outlet / restaurant of Food and Beverage as needed to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while working to achieve departmental targets.
What will I be doing?
A Oscar's Cafe & Terrace Junior Supervisor would be required to exercise his/her skills to ensure that all guests receive the highest possible standards of service and the proper functioning if the outlet. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Supervise a team of Waiter(ess)/Junior Captains/ Captain to provide a consistent and efficient delivery of excellent service to all guests
- Assist the Supervisor to manage the assigned section, familiarizing with the roles and duties of the Supervisor
- Encourages team work and spirit in all areas of the department
- To provide direction and support to the team on a daily basis
- Able to work in all areas of the respective outlet / restaurant of Food and Beverage
- Take and deliver customer orders, consistently demonstrating high levels of customer service
- To check assigned stations, supervise and assist the team with table/ room set up
- Ensure proper cashiering procedures are being performed
- Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Make recommendations on menu items and up-sell with latest departmental incentives
- Fully understand the operation of the section, correct procedures and duties of subordinates
- Ensure compliance of brand standards
- Strive to achieve departmental targets
- Ensure cleanliness of work areas
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
- Carry out any other duties as and when required by the superiors
