A Mini Bar Attendant is responsible for replenishing refreshment centres and maintaining inventory in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

 As a Mini Bar Attendant, you will be responsible for replenishing refreshment centres and maintaining inventory in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.  Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Restock minibar items according to company standards and par levels

  • Accurately record consumed items and post charges to guest accounts

  • Make sure minibar units are clean, organised, and fully operational

  • Check expiry dates and rotate stock in line with food safety standards

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and report shortages or damages

  • Follow hygiene, WHS, and alcohol-handling procedures

  • Communicate effectively with Housekeeping and Front Office teams

  • Provide discreet and professional service when interacting with guests

  • Flexibility to assist with Food & Beverage operations as needed

 A Mini Bar Attendant is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

  • Ability to work on their own or in teams

  • Flexible and reliable

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stock handling and charging

  • Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Physically fit to push carts and lift stock as required

  • Honest, reliable, and punctual with a strong work ethic

  • Availability to work weekends and public holidays

  • A valid alcohol manager's certificate in New Zealand (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)

  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices

  • Full working rights in New Zealand

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Previous experience in hospitality, housekeeping, or minibar operations
