Marketing Manager - Hilton Cleveland Downtown
Hilton Cleveland Downtown, the largest hotel in the city with 600 guest rooms and four distinct dining outlets—including a coffee shop, two restaurants, and a rooftop bar—is expanding its team and seeking a Marketing Manager.
In this role, the Marketing Manager will partner closely with the Director of Marketing to help shape and execute the property’s marketing strategy for some of Cleveland’s most visible hospitality experiences. This position is ideal for a creative, collaborative marketing professional with a passion for travel, hospitality, and food & beverage marketing.
The ideal candidate takes pride in promoting Cleveland as a vibrant destination and brings fresh ideas to drive engagement, visibility, and guest experiences across multiple outlets within the property.
The hourly range for this role is $31.25-$33.65 per/hour and is based on experience. This is an on-property role.
What will I be doing?
As the Marketing Manager at Hilton Cleveland Downtown, you will play a key role in implementing strategic, revenue‑driving marketing initiatives that elevate our brand, enhance guest experiences and support overall hotel profitability.

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Content Development: design marketing collateral, including but not limited to: food & beverage promotional materials, restaurant menus, wedding & catering menus, sales material, on-property displays, ad creative across various mediums and social media graphics
Social Media: own social media for the hotel and all dining outlets, including but not limited to: developing a comprehensive social strategy, content creation, curating UGC, calendar development & implementation, community management, trend monitoring and managing paid social campaigns
Influencer Management & Public Relations: oversee blogger and influencer partnerships, including but not limited to: sourcing talent, managing inquiries, preparing agreements, coordinating stay logistics, as well as building and maintaining strong local media relationships and supporting both proactive and reactive PR efforts
Brand & Reputation Management: maintain online brand presence by creating, auditing and updating owned website content, Google profiles, third party restaurant sites and OTA pages, monitoring and responding to all comments, messages and feedback posted on social media and travel sites daily
Food & Beverage Marketing: support marketing efforts for all on-property dining venues by offering fresh, inspired ideas to drive local and transient revenue, increase brand awareness and promote creative activations
Asset Creation & Management: plan and execute photo and video shoots with a high level of detail, organize and manage multiple libraries of assets
Internal & External Partnerships: support the Director of Marketing in establishing and executing the property’s marketing strategy, work collaboratively to identify partnership, activation & sponsorship opportunities, liaise and build positive relationships with internal and external partners, including but not limited to: on-property hotel team members, internal corporate partners, vendors, agency partners, local media
Reporting & Recommendations: Track, analyze and report on marketing performance, making recommendations to adjust strategy as needed, assist with developing and executing creative campaigns geared towards driving transient room and F&B revenue

What are we looking for?
Minimum Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant experience, with hospitality/hotel/restaurant/travel/tourism specific experience highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills including writing, listening and speaking (English), sufficient to both produce high quality material and communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners
- Extensive knowledge of marketing communication mediums including but not limited to traditional, digital and social channels
- Ability to manage multiple projects across different departments simultaneously to achieve deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
Software/Program Skills/Knowledge:
Expert-level proficiency in Canva (required)
Ability to navigate CMS platforms (preferred)
Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook)
Social platforms and project-based systems such as Trello
