HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Create ad-hoc reports as requested by users/leadership.
- Provide analytical support for the greater procurement organization on assigned projects and ad hoc requests.
- Build presentations to support strategic reviews with hotel groups and quarterly business reviews with account leadership.
- Develop and deliver training on self-service reporting tools.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Work across a wider Shared Service team within HSM to deliver valuable insights on products and pricing that can improve your portfolio's performance.
What deliverable you will take ownership of:
- Property Order Guides Creation and Product Savings Analysis.
- Performance reporting to be included in quarterly business reviews.
- Ad-hoc analysis to support strategic changes in vendors or distribution networks.
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Five (5) years experience in an analytics function, supporting procurement or hospitality industry
- Advanced Excel and SQL skills (can perform complex functions)
- Familiarity working with data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, PowerBI)
- Hybrid schedule from McLean, VA
It would be useful if you have:
- Knowledge of purchasing systems
- Knowledge of multiple global back-office financial systems (preferably SAP)
- Experience working in a large, matrixed organization
