HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Own projects from start to finish, including budgeting, purchase orders, cash flow/invoicing, and close-out/reconciliation
- Review design specifications in accordance with brand standards
- Assist project owners and properties in understanding product needs including determining product usage and specifications along with sourcing new or alternative products
How you will collaborate with others:
- Collaborate with HSM Strategic Sourcing Category Management about appropriate product specifications, updates, guidelines, and standards.
- Coordinate, conduct, and participate in meetings with internal and external departments, key partners, and suppliers to develop project critical path timelines and installation strategies.
What projects you will take ownership of:
- You will handle budget management and timely completion of all HSM Projects involving property expansions, renovations, adaptive reuse, and new construction FF&E projects
- Individually, you will lead a minimum of ten to fifteen (10-15) projects at a time, with a minimum combined budgetary value of $10-$15 million
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Five (5) years of work experience in Hospitality Procurement, Purchasing, and/or Project Supply Management
- Three (3) years of experience working in either enterprise or custom hospitality-based procurement software for order issuance and report facilitation
- Proven Microsoft Office experience with advanced proficiency in Excel, specifically creating formulas, pivot tables and report macros
It would be useful if you have:
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or other supply management certification
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
