HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Manage the daily operations of our Political Action Committee including budget, receipts, contributions, and records.
- Ensure compliance with all federal rules, guidelines, and laws working directly with internal and external vendors and consultants for company-wide political activity.
- Prepare research and background material on legislative and regulatory issues to assist the Federal Government Affairs activity.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Collaborate with the Vice President and Director on priority projects to help enhance Hilton’s reputation with government stakeholders.
- Work internally and with external vendors on issues affecting the company.
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry trade associations, government, consultants, and coalition meetings.
What projects you will take ownership of:
- Draft routine communications and maintain the PAC website and database, help execute PAC activities to build awareness of and support of our PAC.
- Assist with trade association management including billing and initiatives.
- Monitor the development of legislation and regulations of interest to Hilton.
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Three (3) years of work experience in Political Action Committee (PAC) administration, fundraising, or compliance.
It would be useful if you have:
- Experience in legislative affairs, government affairs, or other similar work.
- Previous database management and reporting experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with internal and external partners.
