Manager, Media Strategy & Planning

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

• Forge internal relationships with brand partners, building and overseeing workflow processes.
• Test emerging media tactics that have clear critical metrics and outcomes.  
• Merchandise media successes and learnings across the broader marketing team.

How you will collaborate with others:

• Liase with internal business and marketing partners, agency teams, and the sales rep community.
• Collaborate with lower-funnel marketing teams and analytics team to understand the full-funnel commercial impact of our campaigns.
• Collaborate on intersectional campaign projects with 3 other Managers within the global media team.

What you will take ownership of: 

• Develop campaign media strategy and tactical execution for Hilton’s focused service brands, and Hilton Honors loyalty program.
• Develop and steward a social media platform strategy to guide our approach to social across campaigns and objectives, working collaboratively with other managers, and with the social content team. 

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

• Five (5) years of work experience at a media agency, corporate marketing, or similar working environment
• Experience planning across a wide array of media channels including Social, TV/Video, Audio, Digital, and other non-traditional media
• Work a hybrid office schedule based in McLean, VA
• Travel up to 10% of the time

It would be useful if you have:

• Experience planning and stewarding cross-channel media sponsorships.
• Understanding of the programmatic digital landscape, and how to use audience/data targeting tactics.
