Manager, Lifestyle Brand Design

This is your chance to be part of an in-house Brands team of industry experts in the domains of design, hospitality, brand management, innovation, food and beverage, wellness, owner relations, and more, for all of Hilton's unique Lifestyle brands! As a Design Manager - Lifestyle Brands, you will support the team that leads our Brand Design with the steadfast goal of strengthening and growing the Hilton Lifestyle portfolio. Reporting to the VP of Lifestyle Brand Design, you will work on projects for the Lifestyle Brand portfolio with the main focus being on the three Hard Brands as well as support the growing Collections Brands.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Create compelling Brand specific Design Initiatives and Brand Narratives, including visioning decks and DNA decks for each brand
- Participate and manage the evolution of visual narratives and brand visions with external third-party creative agencies
- Participate in Brand initiatives and trainings by representing Design division and how Design impacts our property teams
- Oversee Brand Design initiatives with third-party design agencies
- Help own selecting design agencies and maintaining relationships
- Track active projects to insure we are ahead of the curve, monitoring the progress of incoming and ongoing design initiatives.
- Support Leadership in the development and delivery of presentations, workshops, and strategic briefs.
- Stay on top of cultural, travel, and design trends that influence hospitality and lifestyle branding.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Provide input to Design and Construction Standards with the Brand, Development, and Technical Services Teams.
- Assist with the evolution and maintenance of the Brand Narrative, D&C Standards, Important Brand Attributes, specific design initiatives, communication tools and website.
- Collaborate with marketing and F&B teams to ensure brand strategies are implemented across all touchpoints.
- Build positive partnerships with both internal and third-party partners such as brands, developers, and design consultants to promote our brands.
- Assist in the communications and follow-up with Brand Management teams to resolve outstanding issues.
- Support property openings with styling and photoshoots alongside AD&C
- Work closely with global regions across AD&C and Marketing to help create cohesive brand visions.
What projects you will take ownership of:
- Management and coordination of agency work for Brand visions, creation of compelling brand collaterals and management of coordination with other departments such as F&B, marketing and AD&C.
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Five (5) years of experience working in a creative professional environment
- Three (3) years of experience working in or around the Hospitality Design Industry
- Two (2) years supervisory experience including the management of people, projects and/or third-party agencies
- A background in design, interior design, or branding within hospitality
- Strong design and visual storytelling skills
- Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Bluebeam, and PowerPoint
- Passion for hospitality, travel, and creating memorable brand experiences.
- Travel up to 20% to participate in property tours, design meetings and brand initiatives
It would be useful if you have:
- Six (6) years of experience working in a professional environment
- Five (5) years of experience working in the creative Lifestyle and Luxury design sector, ideally within an agency or hospitality/lifestyle-related field
- Prior work with Sketch-up, AutoCAD or other 3D visualization software
- General knowledge as it relates to hospitality architecture

The annual salary range for this role is $75,000 - $110,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
