HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Manage learning content to support hotel operations training associated with PEP TrainMe and PEP AssistMe platforms, including:
- Perform vital learning program updates to learning material including job aids, eLearning, support documents, and guided flows.
- Work with subject matter experts to define learning requirements, gather content, create learning content, adapt to changes, and review content for edits and approval.
- Utilize content management and project management skills to maintain the PEP Learning digital library, including performing regular learning audits.
- Create all learning content and content development project plans in Smartsheet.
- Curate best practices for creating learning content in the microlearning environment with the various tools used to create content, not limited to creating guided flows, eLearning, videos, and job aids.
What projects you will take ownership of:
- Review new PEP release information and JIRA tickets to plan the most appropriate learning content modality based on an assessment of ongoing PEP enhancements and existing content.
- Project manage PEP release learning content development and determine what edits or new content is required, including setting timelines as per our development service level agreements.
- Manage the PEP learning site on The Lobby.
- Post PEP learning content to Hilton University and Umbraco Cloud.
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Five (5) years of professional work experience
- Experience with documentation content creation
- Experience working in learning and development
- Understanding of adult learning principles
- Experience in content management and project planning
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365
It would be useful if you have:
- BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience with learning authoring tools, e.g. Articulate 360 suite, Camtasia
- Experience in Instructional Design and Learning Delivery platforms within a global matrixed organization
- Prior knowledge of working with Learning Management systems and open-source content management systems
- Knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS)
- Knowledge of Agile content development
- Experience with technology systems training
