Manager HR Field Operations South America
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Support the Regional HR Director and HR Department in managing and administering all aspects of the Human Resources function.
- Oversee daily HR operations, including interviewing and hiring, recruitment, training and development, compensation and benefits, team member and labor relations, contract compliance, disciplinary procedures, safety, statutory compliance, recognition programs, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee HR data management systems, including team member data entry, tracking transitions, maintaining dashboards (e.g., hires, separations, leaves), and generating reports (e.g., payroll analysis, turnover).
- Maintain and distribute team resources (e.g., HR Field Roster) on a regular cadence to support day-to-day operations.
- Coordinate labor relations activities, including union negotiations, reporting, and analysis.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Partner with the Regional Director to track, manage, and coordinate regional initiatives, functional deliverables, and project updates.
- Provide HR consulting support for cyclical activities such as talent management, performance reviews, and onboarding.
What projects you will take ownership of:
- Prepare and support meetings and events by developing materials and presentations, contributing to solutions, and ensuring timely follow-up on action items.
- Create strategic project documents by collaborating with subject-matter experts, synthesizing qualitative and quantitative insights, and presenting information clearly to align with HR Operations strategy.
- Facilitate and coordinate HR audits and communications to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Support annual survey administration (e.g., GPTW and GTMS) for hotel participation and tracking.
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Three (3) or more years of professional HR experience.
- Two (2) years of on-property HR experience with strong proficiency in labor relations and recruiting.
- You are Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Travel up to 50%.
It would be useful if you have:
- Design in Canva or other publishing tool
- Social Media Administration
- Fluent in Portuguese
