This is your chance to be part of the next-generation Strategy, Insights, and Analytics team of internal consultants to all teams across Hilton! The team ensures that Hilton’s strategy and customer experience are informed by analytics and customer insights combining technical talent with industry expertise to guide progress towards Hilton’s goals. On the Digital Research team reporting to the Senior Manager of Experience Design Research, you will support projects across web and mobile platforms for B2B programs including Hilton for Business.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Advocate for the customer across teams and partners; this includes supporting and validating big-picture concepts to ground-level implementation.
  • Lead all aspects of evaluative and generative qualitative user experience research from planning to launch including test prototypes through user interviews, coordinate in-depth usability testing, and mine user analytics.
  • Analyze feedback and build substantial actionable findings to meet project goals.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Collaborate with product teams who work in a human-centered design model, focusing on the customer and relaying feedback that aids the business in creating optimized products.
  • Align with the product, design, and analytics teams to understand needs and requirements and ensure that research findings are incorporated into other initiatives.

What projects you will take ownership of: 

  • Work with product teams to manage the research roadmap to include exploration and de-risking of new features, capabilities, or enhancements for B2B programs. 

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of professional experience in Research or a related field
  • Two (2) years of experience in user experience (UX) research
  • Experience in research moderation/facilitation and questionnaire design
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading junior researchers
  • Ability to travel up to 15%

It would be useful if you have:

  • Seven (7) years of professional experience in Research or a related field
  • Experience with web and mobile platforms
  • Experience working with B2B audiences
