HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Effectively and respectfully represent other Information Technology staff members, teams, and their services to the user community.
  • Assist Hilton internal team members who are experiencing any procedural or operating difficulty with the use of IT applications, products or services.
  • Provide support for all Information Technology products and services (support activities may include answering questions, troubleshooting problems, teaching or instructing users regarding software or hardware functionality, and communicating policy).

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Elevate complex or high priority problems to subject matter expert support groups for resolution when needed.
  • Engage in research and in-depth troubleshooting to resolve users’ technical issue while adhering to the predefined solutions as set by the Standards Systems Engineering team.

What projects you will take ownership of:

  • Record required user and problem information in the Hilton ticketing system, update tickets with appropriate journal entries of activities and close tickets with resolution entered upon completion of the job.
  • Resolve Level 1 and 2 work orders and elevate complex and/or high priority problems to the appropriate support groups for resolution.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
  • Three (3) years of professional work experience supporting a variety of office technologies, including computers, printers, mobility devices, and video teleconferencing equipment
  • Experience providing remote user support
  • Experience in LAN Room management; network equipment
  • Certifications: MCSA or MCSE or at least MCP
  • Ability to travel and stay overnight as needed

It would be useful if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience 
  • Seven (7) + years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
  • Experience in the end-user support field
