Lead Global Network Engineer
What are we looking for?
We believe the success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:
- Familiarity with access control models and network security, specifically Cisco, Palo Alto & AWS Security
- Advanced professional abilities across multiple subject areas, including IPS, Firewall, Route, Switch, SD-WAN, Wireless, VoIP
- Expert understanding of Networking and core Internet protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and distributed networks)
- Outstanding ability to advise and contribute to the generation of technical specifications and product design
- Experience managing, monitoring, and supporting cloud and network security devices/services
- Scripting experience – Bash/JSON/Powershell, etc.
- Expertise with monitoring and alerting platforms to build and timely adjust necessary monitoring scripts or services
- Deep understanding of how to implement cloud-based networks, firewalls, and proxy servers
- LAN, WAN & Network security industry-related experience as a Network Engineer or Network Security Engineer
To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
- Five (5) years of professional experience in Technology or a related field
- Four (4) years of working experience with Networking associated concepts
- Three (3) years of working experience with Cloud Computing
- Solid technical background in networking technologies, including VPN, IPSec, BGP, MPLS, TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and Load Balancing
- Experience managing Infrastructure as code environments in AWS, including CloudFormation, VPC's, the AWS CLI, Cisco CDO, and Palo Alto Panorama
- Experience in common scripting languages for network automation, including Python, Terraform, or Ansible
- Professional certification (e.g., CCNP, AWS CSAP, PCNSE, VCP) and Associate certification (e.g., CCNA, AWS CSAA, PCNSA, VCTA)
It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 6+ years of technology-related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of technology-related experience
- Seven (7) years of professional experience in Technology or a related field
- Five (5) years of working experience with complex network topologies
- Experience in a leadership role
- Experience working within operational processes, DevOps, deployments, etc.
- Experience with other automation frameworks (Chef/Puppet, etc.) and configuration management tools

The annual salary range for this role is $95,000-$135,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
